June 1 European Toyota Production Recovers

Production of Toyota Motor Corp. vehicles to Europe will return to normal on June 1 after completing the spare parts supply problems.

This Japanese manufacturer will resume full production in five factories in Europe. Japanese car production fell drastically after the March 11 quake and tsunami hit the countrys northeast.

A number of manufacturers of spare parts were destroyed. As a result, break the chains of production vehicles.

In May, Toyota Motor Europe reduce production at five factories in the UK, Turkey, Poland, and France. Factories built Avensis, Auris, Verso and Yaris.

"Although these disasters have a significant impact on the Japanese economy and the operations of Toyota, we are strongly committed cope", says Didier Leroy, CEO of Toyota Europe, said in a statement, as quoted by Automotive News, Wednesday, May 18, 2011.

"I want to thank our suppliers who are working hard to resolve the problem of shortage of spare parts".

After Toyotas European production is normal, expected in the near term, delivery vehicles in Europe also recovered.
