Engine Degreasing
It been a while since i touch the topic of detailing ... my 3rd red indian had got my hands full .. couple with the job change and so forth .. i dont have many free time to play around with detailing and blogging ..
It was recently that i went reading and a great posting and advice from Master of Detailing that gives me the courage to try and detail the engine compartment. I usually wont touch this area dreading the electronics that we modern cars have now .. it can turn into a major disaster if it is not handled properly..
Starting off on my old 4 yrs old nissan, open up the bonnet and you will see a historic muzium of dust inside ..
hehe .. very inspiring for car detailers .. . Ahhheeemmm!!
Then perform some light dabble with a soft water spray on specific spots, avoiding all electrical connectors and terminals ...then wipe dry with some rags
Put on the degreaser (your mom or wifes dishwashing soap) ... i use a brush to do it ..then clean and rinse again with soft water spray ..
After that start the engines to dry it off ... if you want details .. head on here: Fishbonez!
After that I spray on with some dressing, again not a proper one but rather a Tire Shine from Osren instead ... which i find rather good for its price and my tires ..

and then voila!! ...tada - Nice neh!!
