Tyres are they important Goodyear F1 Assymetrical vs Continental Sports

Are tyres all that important - one may ask? For non car nuts .. tyres are the most neglected area of the car, one would always ignore as they did not see the relevance .. as i even had a colleague that never do any balancing and alignment at all ...

A recent balancing alignment routine switches back my F1s to the rear, moving the Conti to the front. And difference is, one may ask arent all tyres the same? .. I lose the feedback that the F1 usually give .. the grip feel to my hands .. call me sensitive but that is what i felt. The ride turns a bit bumpy as well ... as I generally felt, CSC3 is a bit bouncy, whereas F1 are firm and after running around 20k - i would prefer F1 on all accounts .. F1 also do not have the weak sidewall syndrome that i see on CSC3 .. as i saw several light scratches off the sidewall of the tyres during carwash.

With mileage of 20k for the current tyre, it is time probably to start looking and ordering for another 4 F1s
